Item Level-Up

The Item Level-Up area is the place to make items more powerful. The process of increasing an item's Level involves sacrificing other items as material as well as paying Happy Stars (or Happy Tickets) for the upgrade. Before you select an item for upgrade, you will see the item's current and future statistics, a Material Points Required value and a Happy Stars Required amount. Once you select an item for upgrade you will be required to select other items that will make up the material for the upgrade. You will lose the material items as well as any Buffs they have. You can select any category item you have, regardless of what you are upgrading, so long as you pick no more than 6 items to make up the Material Point Cost. All items have an associated Material Points value. The better the item the more material it is worth. Once you select the items for material and pay the Happy Stars required, your Base Item will be upgraded. The option to use Happy Tickets instead of Happy Stars is offered when the material selection process is complete. The Material Points Required value and Happy Stars Required amount increase as an item's Level increases.

Material Point Values

These are the Material Point values for items at different levels. Material Point value is the value used to pay the Material Point Cost for upgrading an item. As you upgrade items, you also upgrade their value for use as material. I have included the total cost per Material Point value. The incremental costs are in the tables above.

Item Level-Up Values

The amount of attack or defense an item gains through levelling-up depends on the item. Weapons, Shields, Armor and Helmets all upgrade diferrent amounts. Regular, Premium and Super Premium items also upgrade different amounts. What does seem pretty consistent is difference between the Levels. The difference between Level 1 and Level 2 is the same difference between Level 2 and Level 3, and so on until Level 7. So if a Level 1 Item is a 100 attack and at Level 2 it is a 115 attack (a difference of 15,) then at Level 3 it will most likely be 130 (15 more than Level 2.) This pattern continues until Level 7; at Level 7 the difference becomes 1.5 times the original difference. So to continue the example of before, the difference would now be 22 or 23, and a Level 7 Item with 190 attack would be a Level 8 Item with a 213 attack. While these values may not be 100% accurate for every weapon, every item I have upgraded follows this pattern.

Level1=x
Level2=y
Level3=y+(y-x)
Level4=y+2(y-x)
Level5=y+3(y-x)
Level6=y+4(y-x)
Level7=y+5(y-x)
Level8=y+6.5(y-x)
Level9=y+8(y-x)
Level10=y+9.5(y-x)

Example:

Level1=100
Level2=115
Level3=115+15=130
Level4=115+2(15)=145
Level5=115+3(15)=160
Level6=115+4(15)=175
Level7=115+5(15)=190
Level8=115+6.5(15)=213
Level9=115+8(15)=236
Level10=115+9.5(15)=259
